  Dr. Toa Charm has 30 years of experience in innovation and technology industry. He was the former Chief Public Mission Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport and held senior management positions in HSBC, IBM, Oracle, Kingdee and Jardine. Dr. Charm’s expertise is FinTech, AI/Big Data, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Tech Park Growth and Management, Digital Strategy and Transformation. Currently, Dr. Charm chairs and advises a few elite AI/Big Data and FinTech start-ups in Asia. He is also an associate professor in CUHK Business School and an adjunct professor in City University of Macau Faculty of Finance. Dr. Charm has been invited to join advisory boards in the Greater Bay Area including Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, Federation of Hong Kong Industry, Greater Bay Area Trade and Economy Association, Dongguan High-Tech Industry Association, Taipei Foundation of Finance, Macau SAR Government Talents Development Committee. Dr. Charm actively engages in FinTech ecosystem. He is Head Judge of Hong Kong ICT Awards – FinTech Award, Mentor of PingAn Cloud Accelerator, Founding Chairperson of FinTech SIG and Judge of HK ETNet FinTech Award. In 2019, Dr. Charm received the Faculty of Business Distinguished Alumni Award from City University of Hong Kong.
