Call for Papers for Global Research Fans

Dear Research Fellow and Academic Fans:

Greetings!

In order to promote academic exchanges and cooperation with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the Faculty of Finance of the City University of Macau (CityUM-FOF) is organizing a series of “CityUM-FOF Economic and Financial Workshop” to invite researchers, scholars and industry experts worldwide to participate in the event. We sincerely invite researchers, scholars and industry experts from all over the world to join us.

[Workshop Overview]

Theme: CityUM-FOF Economic and Financial Workshop

Time: January 6, 2025 onwards (exact schedule to be announced later)

Venue: City University of Macau (detailed address will be provided in the confirmation letter)

Organizer: Faculty of Finance, City University of Macau

[How the workshop will be organized]

The workshop will be held offline and online simultaneously: (1) Offline meeting, please attend by your own means and participate freely; (2) Online meeting is only for scholars who have registered and have been invited to participate in the workshop.

[Call for Papers]

We warmly welcome original, high-quality papers (in both English and Chinese) in the field of economics and finance.

[Requirement]

Paper Format: Submit the abstract and full paper in electronic format (PDF format is recommended). The abstract should include the purpose of the study, methodology, major findings and conclusions.

Deadline: Submit your abstract to the designated mailbox (fof.research@cityu.edu.mo), and there is no deadline for full paper submission.

Evaluation process: All submitted abstracts will be preliminarily screened by the academic committee of the workshop, and the selected candidates will be invited to City University of Macau to present their papers at the workshop.

Presentation: Selected authors are required to prepare a 45-minute oral presentation and a 15-30-minute Q&A session.
