Bachelor in Math and Applied Math, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China.

Dr. Julian Zhang is currently an assistant professor of finance at Faculty of Finance at City University of Macau. Before he joined the City U of Macau, he was an assistant professor of finance of Loyola Marymount University. He was also an adjunct lector of the business school of the University of Utah. His research interest includes capital market (including regulation of option markets), innovation and entrepreneurship, FinTech based on machine learning and textual analysis, and urban economics. He works closely with coauthors from universities allover the world, including the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the SEC, HKUST, etc.
