Biography

Dr. Jianqun Xi is currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Finance, City University of Macau. He received a Ph.D. degree (in Accounting) from the School of Accounting at RMIT University, Australia. Prior to joining the XMUM, he worked at the United International College (UIC), Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNU-HKBU) for more than 7 years.

Dr. Xi has taught Accounting and Finance subjects, including Auditing, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting Information System.

Dr. Xi’s research interests are focused on Corporate Tax Avoidance, ESG, Auditing, Earnings Management, Internal Controls. He has published in refereed journals, such as the International Journal of Accounting, Managerial Auditing Journal, and Australian Accounting Review.
