Professor Cham introduced his latest book: A Great Improvement in Digital Power to the students, and presented it to the library, teachers and students of the City University of Macau. Professor Adrian Cheung, Dean of the Faculty of Finance thanked Professor Cham for the book on behalf of the university.

During the seminar, Professor Zhan first analyzed who were the real competitors in the current digital economy. He said that competition no longer cares about assets, but only cares about digitalization and innovation capabilities. Next, Professor Cham detailed the new opportunities in the digital economy, proposed a new business model and took "Nike" as a case study to analyze the 40-year revolution in consumer marketing. On this basis, he explained the focus of this lecture "How to innovate to seize opportunities." Professor Zhan believed that digital literacy is the business language of the digital economy, and the key to the success of the digital economy is digital literacy × (IQ+EQ+AQ+nQ) . Finally, he summarized and gave three key points for the development of the digital economy. The first is that financial services are necessary for the development of the digital economy; the second is that customers’ pain points are of greater importance than technology and enterprises must innovate and create common value; the third is that disruptive business model is a new normal, and it is necessary to constantly break through the old business model.

The students asked questions, and the lecture ended successfully with warm applause. The students present said that this seminar gave them a deeper understanding of what the digital economy is, the threats and opportunities of the digital economy, and how to seize the opportunities of the digital economy.
