During his lecture, Professor Wang highlighted how global business education is proactively responding to AI-driven transformations and the shift toward green business. He emphasized the importance of problem-solving, cultivating a growth mindset, and advancing green business initiatives. In this context, SREEN and City University of Macau’s collaborative demonstration base will actively participate in the 2025 "Green Business Case Competition," which will be held across multiple universities and countries. The Faculty of Finance plans to encourage faculty and students to develop and compete in these events.

Professor Wang systematically explained three key characteristics of green business case development: competency-oriented approaches, sustainable responsibility, and industry integration. Using a five-force management model—comprising ecological strength, cultural strength, team strength, innovation strength, and action strength—he introduced new strategies for responsible and sustainable management. These strategies aim to establish green business strategies, formulate green business actions, and drive green business transformation. In terms of case development, he underscored the importance of contextualizing green transition scenarios, focusing on green business practices, identifying key solutions, and enhancing green business enablement. His insights sparked great interest among graduate students from both faculties, leading to lively discussions that broadened perspectives, deepened understanding, and strengthened capabilities in green business case development.

At the lecture, Professor Wang officially announced the launch of the "Global Green Business Case Competition," with its first round to be held in Nagoya, Japan. He warmly invited students to form teams and participate in this international event. In line with the competition, he elaborated on the themes of green business and case development, emphasizing the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into business education. He particularly highlighted the pivotal role of digitalization and green initiatives in shaping the future of business.

Additionally, Professor Wang explored various concepts related to management and teamwork, stressing the need for forward-thinking approaches and a deep understanding of "green entrepreneurship." As the lecture concluded, he reiterated the importance of adopting green strategies when tackling business challenges and emphasized the role of ecological benefits and sustainable development models. He also outlined the critical influence of ESG factors in facilitating green transformation.

The lecture inspired enthusiastic discussions among attendees, with students expressing a deeper understanding of green business transformation and its practical applications. They also noted an expansion of their perspectives and an enhancement of their case development skills. Faculty and students from the Faculty of Finance expressed their sincere gratitude to Professor Wang for his insightful sharing and look forward to further collaboration in the field of green business.
