To further support the development of Macau's financial industry, the International Training and Testing Center (ITTC), Faculty of Finance (  FOF) of CityU Macau and the Macau Institute of Financial Services jointly organized the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 Examination Preparation and officially launched the course on July 29. At the opening ceremony, Professor Adrian Cheung, Dean of FOF, and Ms. Jane Ho, Director of ITTC were invited to serve as the opening guests. A total of 30 working professionals from the financial and banking sectors in Macau enrolled in the course. The course was conducted on two Saturdays with the content of the CFA Level 1 Examination, with the aim of enhancing the quality and professional level of Macau's financial talents.

Firstly, Professor Cheung thanked all parties for their assistance in organizing the course and hoped that through the interaction and learning with the instructor, the students could enhance their understanding of their own industry and better cope with the exam. Professor Cheung also welcomed the students to have the opportunity to further their studies at CityU Macau in the future and looks forward to meeting them again in the course of the University.

Director Ho thanked all parties for their support and was delighted with the successful launch of the course after several months of active coordination and arrangement. She hoped that all students could deepen their understanding of finance and financial analysis through the guidance of the course instructor and could easily cope with the exam.

Mr. Edward Lei, the course instructor, thanked CityU Macau for the invitation and was honored to share his knowledge and experience with the students. He said that with the rapid development of Macau's modern financial industry, CFA has become one of the globally recognized financial professional certifications, and many financial institutions use it to assess the professional level of their employees. Therefore, enrolling in the course will be of great help to the future development of their careers.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is one of the world's recognized financial professional certifications issued by the CFA Institute, a non-profit organization in the United States, and has become one of the standards used by financial institutions to measure the professionalism of employees.
