Call for Papers (Undergraduate Session)

When reflections beyond the classroom crystallize into questions, and fragmented ideas begin to be supported by data and methodology, a research project quietly takes shape. The Faculty of Finance at City University of Macau cordially invites you to bring such research to the CityUM-FOF Economic and Financial Workshop (Undergraduate Special Session), to exchange and discuss with undergraduate students from universities across the country.

To promote academic interaction among undergraduate students nationwide in the fields of economics and finance, this undergraduate special session focuses on undergraduate research practice. We encourage analyses centered on real-world issues, facilitating not only the presentation of research findings but also in-depth discussion on research design and methodological choices.

Scope of Papers

This workshop calls for original research papers in economics, finance, and related fields from undergraduate students of universities across the country. Submissions in both Chinese and English are welcome.

Submission and Review Process

Submission Content: Electronic version of the paper abstract and full paper (PDF format recommended)

Abstract Requirements: The abstract should include the research purpose, methodology, main findings, and conclusions.

Review Process:

Submitted abstracts will undergo an initial screening by the workshop's academic committee. Authors of selected papers will be invited to attend the workshop at City University of Macau to present their papers.

Conference Arrangements

The workshop will feature a single main session. Each paper presentation is allotted 45 minutes (30 minutes for presentation, 15 minutes for commentary). Specific arrangements will be notified before the event. Working lunch will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
