Prof. Yi Liu is the largest shareholder, Chairman, and CEO of Gameone Holdings Limited (Stock code: HK 8282). His expertise spans e-commerce supply chains, artificial intelligence, blockchain, supply chain risk management, and fintech. Prof. Liu is the executive director of Yawang Zhiye (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., a private company engaged in property management and the development of commercial and office buildings in Hangzhou, PRC. Prof. Liu served as a non-independent director of Anhui Wantong Technology Co., Ltd. , a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 002331.SZ). Prof. Liu has also worked for Morgan Stanley as a senior software engineer, Microsoft Corporation as a senior software engineer, and Google LLC as a software engineer.
 

Prof. Liu is a Professor of Practice in the Faculty of Business at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he has been teaching since 2025. Prof. Liu obtained his DBA in Fintech from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and his master’s degree in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, with a focus on network security and multimedia.
 

Prof. Liu is a standing member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Hangzhou Linping District, vice chairman of the Hangzhou Linping District Federation of Overseas Chinese, and vice chairman of the Hangzhou Linping District Western Returned Scholars Association. Prof. Liu was accredited as a Class B High-Level Talent under the Measure of Yuhang District of Hangzhou on the Classification and Identification of High-Level Talents and as a Class D High-Level Talent under the Measure of Hangzhou on the Classification and Identification of High-Level Talents.
