- To complete this course, students must complete the following 44 courses (132 credits): 6 core general education courses listed in Table 1 (18 credits); 25 core professional courses listed in Table 2 (75 credits); 7 core professional courses in one chosen specialization listed in Table 3 (21 credits); 3 elective general education courses in 25 chosen from Table 4 (9 credits, with at least three specializations selected); and three professional subject courses from other colleges designated by the university (excluding assignments/graduation projects and practice-based subjects).
-
In this course, students must complete the required standard major courses in the first and second academic years. At the end of the fourth semester, they can choose a specialization and begin studying the core required major courses in their chosen specialization in the third academic year. Students have the following two choices:
i. Finance
ii. Economics
- A total of 18 credits is required, including three general education electives and three interdisciplinary electives, which can be taken over four academic years, with a maximum of 9 credits per academic year. However, students must make their own selections based on the arrangement of required courses each academic year.
- Specialization will be based on student voluntariness. When there is a significant difference in the number of students enrolled in different specializations, the college reserves the right to reasonably adjust students' specializations to ensure the smooth commencement of classes. This adjustment will utilize the previous academic year's course grades as a key reference and the last academic year's course grades as an essential reference. The college reserves the right of final interpretation in this regard.
- If fewer than 20 students enroll in a specialization, the university will cancel the program for that specialization.
- If fewer than 20 students enroll in a subject, the course may be cancelled, and students will need to choose another subject.
- Students cannot repeat subjects they have already completed.
- Students who complete a total of 132 credits and have not violated any university regulations may apply for a bachelor's degree in accordance with the application procedures of City University of Macau.
