From June 1-2, the finals of the 2nd National Innovation Experience Competition For College Students, sponsored by China Creative Studies Institute and organized by Southeast University and Anhui University of Technology, was held at Jiulonghu Campus, Southeast University. The participants of CityU won the first and the second prizes.

  This competition began in November 2018. A total of 389 works from 36 universities across the country were accepted. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Lou Shiyan, Cou Mouciu, Lam Manwai, Jyu Joeng, Wong Ciuhyun, and Zoeng Kaai of Applied Economics Program, Faculty of Finance, stood out in the competition and entered the finals. And they made a presentation and demonstrated their work on-site at the finals on June 1. The competition included two themes, that is, "Never-ending Changes" and "Value of Innovation". Lam Manwai, and Wong Ciuhyun won the first prizes of the two themes. And Jyu Joeng, Zoeng Kaai, and Cou Mouciu won the second prizes.
