On the afternoon of 5 March 2020, an online lecture about finance was held by the Faculty of Finance of City University of Macau, where Chan Cheuk Wah, the securities service supervisor of The Commercial Bank of Macau, made a speech titled "Asian Securities Markets". Besides, he made a comprehensive comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of the stock markets, including the differences in the commission proportion among different places, the background information about investors, the ways of purchasing stocks, and the market operation model. With a view to analysing the opportunities and challenges in the future development of Macao’s security market, he motivated the students to seize opportunities to make personal improvement in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Finally, the students seized the precious time to raise questions, all of which were answered by Supervisor Chan with details. The online discussion was so heated that it lingered long after the conclusion of the lecture. By leaving message on the online platform, the students continued to exchange ideas with him.
