The Faculty of Finance (FOF) and the International Training and Test Center (ITTC) of the City University of Macau, the Macau Institute of Financial Services and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) Hong Kong and Macau Centre held the 2023 annual meeting on 19 May 2023 on the “Professional Certificate in Financial Consulting (Executive Program)”. General Secretary Evelyn Kun, Mr. David Lo, Mr. Steven Wan and Ms. Bernice Kong of the Macau Institute of Financial Services, Mr. Allan Wan, Executive Director of IARFC Hong Kong and Macau Centre, Dean Adrian Cheung and Associate Dean Eva Khong of CityU FOF, and Ms. Doris Wu and Ms. Yan Leong of CityU ITTC attended the meeting.

This was the first meeting held after the pandemic. On behalf of CityU, Dean Cheung and Associate Dean Khong warmly welcomed Mr. Lo, Secretary General Kun and Mr. Wan to attend the meeting in person, and expressed their gratitude to the three parties for their cooperation in the Professional Certificate in Financial Consulting Executive Program over the years. The meeting was held to discuss issues including the scope of teaching, evaluation of teachers, attendance rates of students, assignments and teaching achievements of the 2023 program to assure the quality of teaching and program.

Mr. Lo, Secretary General Gun and Mr. Wan gave advice and put forward different proposals at the meeting, and were committed to providing the most cutting-edge professional certification courses for Macau's financial and insurance practitioners. It was agreed that the 2023 Professional Certificate in Financial Consulting Executive Program would be launched in October. The announcement of the ITTC of CityU will contain more details. Cooperating together for many years, CityU, the Macau Institute of Financial Services and the IARFC Hong Kong and Macau Centre will continue to provide training opportunities for local financial talents to enhance their financial expertise and broaden their career development, and explore training courses related to the development of Macau's financial industry to help Macau cultivate more financial professionals.
