The City University of Macau recently hosted the “Forum on Training of Financial Professionals in Macau and Registered Financial Consultant Graduation and Conferment Ceremony” at the Ho Yin Convention Centre, Taipa Campus. The graduation ceremony honored 11 students from leading international insurance companies who completed the “Professional Certificate in Financial Consulting” (Executive Program 2023) and were conferred the qualifications of both "Professional Certificate in Financial Consulting" and “Registered Financial Consultant.” This Executive Program was co-organized by the Faculty of Finance and the International Training and Testing Center in collaboration with the Macau Institute of Financial Services and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC). Leaders and representatives attended the ceremony and delivered speeches to commend the learning accomplishments of the graduating students. Lo Chi Man, a member of the Executive Board of the Macau Institute of Financial Services, hosted the forum and shared insightful analyses on current trends in the financial market, the impact of artificial intelligence on the industry, and the growing popularity of short-term contracts or freelance work. Drawing from his personal experience, Lo encouraged students to continue developing their professionalism.
