AMBA & BGA Asia Pacific Deans and Directors Conference 2024

On 24th to 27th November 2024, Asia Pacific Deans and Directors Conference was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference was attended by more than a hundred delegates from Asia-Pacific region, to discuss the important issues including business school transformation in the digital economy, business education transformation in India; capacity building in Asia Pacific schools, shaping future leaders in a globalized world; the future of the employment market, and geopolitical challenges and opportunities in the region and beyond.

          

Associate Dean Eva Khong attended the Conference and participated in Session 4: Sustainable entrepreneurship and leadership development – the Silk Road network.  She presented the latest progress regarding commitments by the university. She mentioned that since City University of Macau became the platform of the International Silk Road Entrepreneurship Education Network, it has held the International Silk Road Entrepreneurship Education Network Conference for six consecutive years to promote the development of international silk road entrepreneurship education.  The 7th International Silk Road Entrepreneurship Education Network Conference will be organised in the coming year.  The session conducted an in depth discussion further in issues considering the value of green transformation in the context of leadership development and highlighted relevant programme upgrading strategies.

The 3 days conference presented and further discussed key issues that would impact business schools in the Asia Pacific region over the next five years and beyond. Attention was directed to the leading changes in terms of enhancing programmes for sustainable digital and green futures.
