Silver Award Team
Faculty of Finance
Students: Yourou Chen, Yilin Jiang, Peiyang Li, and Hongyu Lin
Advisors: Faculty of Finance Assistant Professors Lu Liu and Yan Wang
We are honored that our team could represent the University in the competition and win the Silver Award. This honor would not have been possible without the attentive guidance of our advisors, Assistant Professors Lu Liu and Yan Wang. During our preparation, from structuring the logic of case deconstruction, to refining the details of report writing, and to tips for presentation and Q&A, our advisors always accurately pointed out issues and patiently answered our questions, serving as our strongest support. We also thank the university for the platform it provided, allowing us to fully showcase ourselves.
This competition was a valuable opportunity for growth. Through in-depth analysis of real corporate cases, we not only translated theoretical knowledge from the classroom into practical skills but also learned efficient communication for teamwork and calm judgment when facing challenges. At the same time, through competition and exchange with excellent teams from other universities, we clearly saw our own areas for improvement—depth in industry trend prediction, application of data analysis models, and composure in on-site presentation, among others.
This award is an affirmation of the past and, more importantly, an impetus for the future. We will take this as a new starting point, continue to delve into research diligently, strive to address our shortcomings, and enhance our comprehensive abilities. We will carry these gains and gratitude forward, continuously surpassing ourselves in future studies and challenges, and striving to win more honors for the Faculty.
