Biography

Dr. Li Weiping is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Finance, City University of Macau. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from City University of Hong Kong. Before joining City University, he served as an assistant professor at the International School of Business & Finance at Sun Yat-sen University. Dr. Li's main research interests include corporate finance, green finance, digital finance, and cultural finance. He has published numerous papers in international SSCI/SCI journals such as the Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Business Strategy and the Environment, Energy Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Nature Series), Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, International Review of Economics and Finance, and Accounting & Finance. He is the principal investigator of a project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. In addition to his academic role, he serves as a young editorial board member of China Journal of Accounting Research(ESCI Q1). He is also a member of the Center for China’s Governmental Auditing Research (CCGAR) at the Southwest University of Finance and Economics. Furthermore, he is an esteemed member of the Young Scholars Committee within the Accounting Academic Alliance in China. He is also the special appointed professor at Business School, Taishan University.
