On April 29, 2026, the Faculty of Finance of the City University of Macau successfully hosted“Go Green Staff Club Gathering”at the Cultural Centre Exhibition Hall on Taipa Campus.
The event was attended by Professor Jun Liu, Rector of City University of Macau, Professor Kuai Peng Ip, Vice Rector of City University of Macau, along with colleagues from various university departments. Distinguished guests included Ms. Weng Man Ieong, Manager of Taipa Branch and King Tin Wui Branch of Luso International banking Ltd. ; Ms. Cherry Im, Assistant General Manager of Retail Finance Department of Luso International banking Ltd.; Mr. Keith Chan, Deputy head of retail section of Taipa Branch; Ms. Ka Kei Lou, Relationship Manager at Luso International Banking Ltd. of Taipa Branch; Ms. Joana Leong, Senior Director of Strategic Customer Management Department of Well Link Bank; Ms. Sophia Wong, Relationship Manager of Nova Taipa Branch of Well Link Bank; Mr. William Miu, General Manager of Business Development of Ant Bank (Macao) Ltd.; Ms. Kean Chen, Marketing Leader of Ant Bank (Macao) Ltd.; and Ms. May Choi, Marketing executive of Ant Bank (Macao) Ltd.
The event began with welcoming remarks from Rector Jun Liu, who expressed his gratitude to the staff and guests for their enthusiastic participation and thanked the Faculty of Finance for organising the event. Rector Liu acknowledged the generous support of the financial industry partners and noted that the Faculty of Finance has actively established and maintained strong collaborative relationships with the industry, achieving remarkable results.
Dean Adrian Cheung of the Faculty of Finance shared his delight at the active support and participation of the staff. He highlighted the richness of the event and wished everyone a rewarding experience. Dean Cheung also extended thanks to Luso International Banking Ltd., Well Link Bank, Ant Bank (Macao) Ltd., and Dr. Vincent Huen, a member of Faculty of Finance Advisory Board, for their tremendous support.
The event featured musical performances by three students (Yiran Tao, Yunqi Lyu, and Yu Huang) from the Faculty of Finance, who sang the songs “Little Girl”, “My Secret”, and “A Game, A Dream”. Their wonderful performances added joy and vibrancy to the gathering. The lucky draw segment followed, with Rector Jun Liu, Dean Adrian Cheung, and the attending guests drawing prizes. Colleagues left with abundant rewards, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and happiness.
The staff gathering concluded with university leaders and staff enjoying fine food and refreshments while engaging in warm conversations. The “Go Green Staff Club Gathering” was successful, offering staff a sense of warmth and care from the university and further strengthening team cohesion. It brought renewed energy to the faculty and all departments, allowing everyone to spend a pleasant and relaxing afternoon together.
