The Finance Elite Cohort at the Faculty of Finance successfully hosted its "Mingle Day" on 5th February, 2026. Chaired by Program Director of the Finance Elite Cohort – Professor Markus Leibrecht, the event featured senior experience sharing, ice-breaking activities, and social networking, fostering deep connections between senior and junior students while showcasing a spirit of excellence and unity.

The event opened with a warm welcome from Professor Markus. This was followed by an insightful sharing session by three Year 4 students—Alina, Jeffrey, and Winston—who have already secured admission to prestigious graduate programs. Addressing the themes of "How to become an A-student" and "Strategies for elite university admissions," they shared practical tips and common pitfalls, providing clear guidance for their juniors’ academic journeys.

To break down the barriers between year levels, the event featured interactive segments where students grouped themselves by their home provinces to share local customs and build rapport. These introductions significantly deepened mutual understanding; many students were seen exchanging contact information, laying the groundwork for future academic collaboration and peer support.

As the event transitioned into the networking phase, the Faculty provided refreshments for students to enjoy during casual conversation. Freshmen noted that the event offered not only invaluable academic advice but also a chance to connect with like-minded peers amidst their busy schedules.
